Floors

1. Create floors#

Go to Settings → Operations setup → Floors. Create every storey before creating rooms — floor is a required field on the room form.

• Use the names people actually say: if the building calls it the ground floor, so should the record.
• Mezzanines and half-floors need their own record, or their rooms end up on the wrong storey.
• Buildings that skip a number should skip it here too, so plans match reality.

2. Ordering#

Floor order drives the property layout and every room list. If the layout reads oddly, the ordering is usually what needs fixing, not the data.
