What it shows
Go to Reports → Financial reports → Credit balances. Every lease carrying a surplus, how much is usable now and how much is pending approval.
See Credit balances for how a balance is created and spent.
Why it matters
Credit balances are money you are holding against future charges. A large and growing total usually means one of two things:
- Tenants are paying well ahead — fine, but it is not revenue yet.
- Surpluses are not being applied to invoices at all — which means debt reports overstate what is really owed.
A lease with both a credit balance and an unpaid invoice is a settlement nobody completed. Those pairs are the first thing to clear.
