Run the report
Open it
Go to Reports → Property reports → Upcoming vacancies.
Set the horizon
Choose how far ahead to look — typically one to two full notice periods.
Check which have a renewal started
Anything without one is a conversation that has not happened yet.
What it shows
Leases reaching their end date inside the period, with the tenant, the room and the end date.
A lease with no end date never appears here. If a building shows no upcoming vacancies at all, check whether its leases were entered open-ended by mistake.
Acting on it
Renewing an existing tenant is almost always cheaper than filling the room again. Renew rather than create a new lease, so history, deposit and credit balance stay attached — see Leases.
