Asset types

1. Create a type#

1. Open the form

   Go to Settings → Operations setup → Assets → Asset types and press (+).

2. Fill in the fields

   Name	必須	Maximum 255 characters, e.g. "Air conditioner", "Water heater".
   Note	任意	Expected lifespan, service interval, anything that helps plan replacement.

Asset type is a required field when registering an asset, so create the types first.

2. Choosing the granularity#

Keep the list at the level you would actually buy a replacement at. "Appliance" is too broad to plan from; the exact model belongs on the asset record, not the type.
