Usage tiers

1. Create a tier set#

1. Open the form

   Go to Settings → Operations setup → Finance → Usage tiers and press (+).

2. Fill in the fields

   項目	必須	説明
   Name	必須	Maximum 255 characters, e.g. "Residential electricity 2026".
   Tiers	必須	At least one band. Each band has an upper limit and a price.
   Description	任意	Where the bands came from, so the next person can check them.

3. Attach it to a service

   Open the metered service and select this tier set.

4. Verify on one invoice

   Generate one invoice and check the banded calculation by hand before relying on it.

2. Match the utility exactly#

If you are passing a utility bill through, copy the utility's bands exactly. Rounding them to something simpler means you either subsidise heavy users or over-charge them, and the difference compounds across a building.

Changing a tier set affects readings priced after the change. Invoices already issued keep the prices they were calculated with.
